Being informed that you require the services of a House Assistant; I wish to apply for the situation. I have lived in Mrs. Dolly Yang’s family for three years, and I understand that she will give me a good character if I am successful in attracting your notice. She is not wishful that I should leave, but I am desirous of making a change, by which I may better my position to some slight extent. I am thirty years old, and the wages I now receive are RM500
